September has not even finished, but Bayern has already started their Oktoberfest as they feast again with yet another game of 4 goals against a wretched Werder.
Michael Olise was on fire on the right flank in the first half as he created numerous chances with either Kane or Gnabry. It was just a matter of time when one of his enticing crosses was converted to goal by Jonathan Tah with a beautiful back heel shot from the German defender.
Just before the half time Werder’s defender Friedl made a bad timing with his right foot on Kane. Kane from the spot made it 2-0 for Bayern. Kane has now scored in 18 consecutive penalties for Bayern and was hoping for his landmark 100th goal for the club.
Bayern held firm with its defense as Werder’s forwards tried shooting from different angles but Neur was always firm. In the 64th minute, Luiz Diaz on the left wing dribbled past one defender and made a low driven lofted pass between 2 defenders to Kane who smashed it on the bottom right corner to make it 3-0 for Bayern.
Under a violet-dusking sky, the Allianz Arena hummed with restless expectation for their club’s predator Harry Kane
A new record!!!!!!!! Harry Kane is now the fastest to reach 100 goals for a club in the Europe top 5 leagues. He has now broken Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland joint record of fastest 100 goals for a club. They both took 105 games while the English forward completed in a game less.
Luis Diaz and Michael Olise did craft some chances but weren’t successful. One of the record loan signings in the history of football, Nicolas Jackson was also looking for his 1st Bayern goal but he still had to wait.
Meanwhile in the 85th minute some loose defending from Kimmich allowed a chance for Victor Boniface which he did convert but unfortunately was offside.
And till the closing minutes, all the experienced guys were subbed off and Kompany put 2 17 year olds Wisdom Mike and Lennart Karl and they didn’t disappoint as they combined with Laimer to put Bayern 4 in front and seal the deal.
Bayern are unbeaten on the top as the stadium surged: cheers, red banners waving, stamps of joy echoed all around the Allianz Arena.
