Introduction

Ciao Ciao! Matchday 4 of Serie A is wrapped up, and so here we are discussing it. Welcome to the Serie A Matchday 4 Roundup, India’s home for Italian football fans—stories, debates, and pure calcio passion.  Here, we will recap on what happened in last weekend’s fixtures. So, let’s dive in.

5 Things We Learnt From Matchday 4 in Serie A

Here we will discuss what happened in the last Gameweek of Serie A and discuss what we learned from it. Starting from number 5.

Andrea

5. Belloti Rolls Back The Years Under This Exciting Cagliari Project:

Andrea Belloti rolled back the years as he netted a crucial match-winning brace for them, as this pushed them for a comeback win against Lecce away from home. Manager Fabio Pisacane’s Cagliari project is starting to look more promising with passing days, so everyone should keep an eye on them.

Pellegrini

4. Pellegrini Nets Again for Roma to Push a Derby Win

Lorenzo Pellegrini emerged as the Derby hero once again as he netted his fourth goal in the Derby della Capitale. Like Ranieri, he was trusted by Gasperini as well to start this fixture, and he returned the faith shown in him by scoring against Roma’s arch rivals, Lazio, as Roma beat Lazio 1-0 at Stadio Olimpico in Lazio’s fixture.

Conte’s

3. Conte’s Napoli Starts Perfect, But Conte Seems Unhappy

Antonio Conte’s Napoli is off to a perfect start with four wins in four games in Serie A. But the signs of discontent are already there, with Conte seeming unhappy with his squad depth despite spending nearly €150 million in the transfer market. Conte expresses his concern over the workload his team has to go through during the season, saying his squad is not big enough to manage the workload. Their next test is against AC Milan, and we have to see if Napoli can keep up with their surging performances and good form.

Juric

2. Juric Seems to Finally Unleash Atalanta

Ivan Jurić, finally after his tough start at Atalanta, seems to have finally gotten his team firing as Atalanta wins big against Torino 3-0. It seems that Jurić has finally unleashed the youngsters of the team in the form of Nikola Krstović, who scored a brace, and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who scored one goal. It seems that Atalanta is slowly becoming the dark horses of Serie A in the early stages; however, this weekend will be their real test in the league as they face Juventus, who haven’t lost a game yet.

Como

1. Como’s Rise Making Them Neutral’s Favourite

Under manager Cesc Fabregas, this Como team is looking more exciting than ever, as they are a favorite amongst neutrals. A lot of exciting things are happening there lately. It seems that they have unearthed another gem from their pool of talents, as Jayden Addai scores a late winner as they successfully clinch a comeback win against Fiorentina.
